Grabel is a poet, a special education and language arts teacher for Portland Public Schools and a spokenword performer. Her most recent work is a chapbook of experimental prose poems called ASSISTED LIVING. She just completed an illustrated young adult chapbook called THE LITTLE POET, which debuted as a performance piece in December 2013.
